Traveling with Your Furry Friends! 🐶🐱
NOTE: Between 16 Dec 2024 and 3 Jan 2025 all flights are embargoed for carriage of pets. This embargo is for all flights except the BN2 Inter-Isles Operation at Orkney which will continue to offer the service.
You can bring your beloved dogs and cats along with you on most of our flights*, and they will travel safely in our hold.
Here’s how it works:
- Before you travel - please speak to our Help Centre to discuss what is required and tell us about your pet. We need information on the breed, size, weight, and details of your travel carrier. All pets must be approved in advance to guarantee travel
- Check-In Together: Your pet checks in with you at the passenger terminal
- Reunite at Arrival: Your pet will rejoin you in the baggage hall at your destination airport
Important Details:
- Please ensure your pet is in a suitably approved container - it needs to be sturdy, and your pet must be able to stand up, turn around and lie down comfortably. We will require a photograph of the container as part of the approval process
- Cost: The charge for a pet carrier is £50.00 one-way
*exclusions apply:
- we cannot carry pets to/from London City, Stavanger, Bergen, Esbjerg, Donegal or Dublin Airports
- we cannot carry pets on routes operated by a Twin Otter aircraft (i.e. Barra, Campbeltown & Tiree)
