Remembering and Supporting our Armed Forces

What we're doing

At Loganair, we're proud to support our Armed Forces.

That's why every year, in November, we come together to remember the fallen, and throughout the year we continue to find new ways to support reservists, service leavers, cadet force adult volunteers and their families.

Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday

On the 11th of November and Remembrance Sunday

  • At 11:00 we will observe a 2-minutes silence, onboard and at our offices.
  • No aircraft will request engine start clearance between 10:58 and 11:02 and where possible aircraft will pause movements if taxiing
  • This also means our Customer Help Centre will not answer calls between 11:00 and 11:02

Our Achievements This Year

We were delighted to accept the Silver Award for the Employer Recognition Scheme by the Armed Forces Covenant this year from Major General Alastair Bruce, Governor of Edinburgh Castle.

  • That makes Loganair the most highly recognised and awarded UK airline in the scheme to date

We are delighted to have our efforts recognised and look forward to further improving our support
