Loganair launches direct service between Edinburgh and Guernsey in response to high summer demand
The UK’s largest regional airline Loganair has announced a direct service connecting the island of Guernsey and the capital city of Scotland as part of its summer 2025 schedule.
The weekly service will operate on Saturdays between 24 May and 13 September, departing Edinburgh at 16.10 and arriving in Guernsey at 18:10. The return service takes off at 18:40, landing in Edinburgh at 20:45.
The route will provide direct connectivity for Scottish passengers looking to holiday in the renowned beach resorts of Guernsey, located just off the French Coast. Holiday-goers will have the chance to explore the incredible coastal cliffs, sample its delicious local produce and learn more about the island’s fascinating history.
On the return side, passengers from Guernsey will have access to direct flights to Scotland’s bustling capital city to explore the iconic castle, admire its historic architecture, indulge in the world-class food and drink offering and immerse themselves in the city’s vibrant culture. It will also offer travellers the chance to make the most of onward connections across Scotland or connect on another Loganair service to the Highlands and Islands.
Lead-in fares start at just £89.99 and are inclusive of generous luggage allowances of up to 21 kg, spread between on-board (6 kg) and cabin bags (15kg). The service is operated by a 72-seater ATR-72, Loganair’s most sustainable aircraft.
