Direct service between Dublin and Inverness recommences

Launching today (27 May 2022) for the first time since pre-pandemic, Loganair will operate a direct link between Inverness Airport and Dublin Airport.

Operating four times per week on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays the service is ideal for those visiting friends and family or looking for a convenient city break destination. Passengers can also benefit from further onward connections within the Loganair network.

Fares start from £73.81 one-way including a 15kg checked baggage allowance, all taxes, Air Passenger Duty and a GreenSkies contribution to the cost of fully offsetting all carbon emissions from Loganair flights.

As the Irish Capital, Dublin is a historic city with a modern attitude where visitors can embrace the great outdoors and cultural walking tours or enjoy the vibrant nightlife through the bar and restaurant scene including the iconic Temple Bar.

Meanwhile in the heart of the Scottish Highlands is Inverness where the world renowned Loch Ness Monster Nessie calls home. From picturesque villages and untamed wilderness it is one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland to enjoy a leisurely break or a more active trip for hillwalkers, cyclists and wild swimmers.

To celebrate the launch on Friday 27 May passengers leaving from Inverness Airport will receive a goodie bag of gifts from local suppliers and attractions organised by Loganair and Inverness Airport.

Kay Ryan, chief commercial officer at Loganair, said:

“As consumer confidence builds we can resume more services and launch new routes. It’s always encouraging to recommence routes like this one between Inverness and Dublin which shows Loganair’s continued commitment to providing domestic and international connectivity for both leisure and business customers.”
