Bennachie
On the eastern edge of the Grampian mountain range, Bennachie is one of Aberdeenshire’s most recognisable landmarks. This distinctive hill with several tops can be seen from miles around. Expect rugged beauty and sweeping views as you embark on scenic hikes along well-worn trails, ascending through heather-clad hills and ancient woodlands. Look out for cuckoos, red squirrels, roe deer and many other types of fascinating wildlife during the climb, and from the summit of Mither Tap, soak in panoramic views of rolling hills and see if you can spot the iconic turbines at Mackie’s Farm at Westerton in the distance!
Chocolate
Chocolate ice cream has a smooth and creamy texture but with a rich and dark chocolate taste. Made from a chocolate ice cream mix, using Mackie’s farm-made chocolate, and enhanced with added chocolate flakes, this is a doubly indulgent chocolate ice cream treat. All made from the natural goodness of fresh milk and cream and produced on the family farm in Aberdeenshire.
