We are calling on all budding and established musicians to record and submit a lyrical or instrumental song that encapsulates the ethos of Loganair over 60 years – with one entry selected to feature in our anniversary video!

The brief
We want you to be as creative as possible...whether you play the guitar, piano, drums or just know your way around a Digital Audio Workstation, it's up to you.
The 90-second audio will be used in our video which will celebrate our heritage and pay tribute to all of the special moments we have shared with customers; connecting people across the UK, bringing loved ones together and allowing businesses to grow. Therefore, we are looking for a song that puts the customer at the heart of our 60-year history. Keep in mind it is our "diamond" anniversary too!

Our Story
On 1st February 1962, Loganair was founded with the first flight taking off from Dundee Airport bound for Edinburgh in October 1963. In its 60 years, Loganair has grown to be the largest regional airline in the UK as well as serving multiple international destinations including Denmark and Norway. Loganair also operates lifeline services to the Highlands and Islands through domestic flights and its Royal Mail partnership.

Entries must be received by 23:59/ 19th January
Entries to be uploaded via upload link on our website - Please put your name and email address in the file name
Multiple entries permitted
Entrants must submit an original 90-second song - instrumental or with vocal. Vocals should be in English.
Entrants may also wish to submit 30 or 60-second short versions, in addition to the 90-second entry.
The entries should align closely to the brief i.e celebrating Loganair's 60-year history and journey
Covers of existing tracks not permitted
By entering, the entrant declares they have full ownership of the creative, and that it does not belong in whole or part to any other artist, or infringe on any copyrights.
The winning entrant agrees to the 90-second audio being licensed for use in all Loganair advertising and media, in perpetuity. This includes (but is not limited to), online advertising, television advertising and radio/streaming.
The winner will be selected by an independent panel
Loganair will not be held liable for any copyright infringements due to false declarations, and are taken in good faith.
Loganair reserves the right to recover costs from entrants arising from copyright infringements due to false declarations.
Loganair reserves the right not to use any of the submitted audios in its promotions
Entrants must ensure they use their full name and correct email address when uploading their entry

The prize is £1000 via bank transfer and made payable on signature of media release forms and provision of payment details.
The prize winner agrees to take part in publicity photographs and PR
Prizewinner will be notified by email used in their upload entry - should Loganair be unable to contact the winner within 5 working days, we reserve the right to award the prize to a runner up
It may take up to 30 days to process payment
Prizes are not transferrable or exchangeable
If no entrant meets the entry criteria, the prize may not be awarded
