Experience some Eeriness this Halloween...
Let's get spooky!
It’s official! It’s Halloween month, and what better way to spend it than to visit a city full of excitement and events for the whole period surrounding the day.
We’ve listed some of our favourites to visit during this gruesome time, have a look for yourselves!
City of Derry
Visit the city, which from the 28th until the 31st of October 2022, will turn into Europe’s biggest Halloween festival! The Walled City comes alive with ancient spirits and reopens the pathways of the Halloween travellers of the past. After a long 3-year wait, the famous Carnival Parade will also be returning to Derry Halloween! The Halloween parade retains its community spirit that has always been at the heart of Derry’s world-class festivities as it involves hundreds of local performers from schools, groups and clubs right across the city and district. There will also be Festival Finale fireworks on the River Foyle, showcasing a deathly display of pyrotechnics. Walk around the city soaking up installations and atmosphere, myths and magic, as well as music and mischief to fill the imagination!
- Fly to City of Derry from Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London Stansted.
Edinburgh

With its horrifying history and dark kirkyards (cemeteries), Edinburgh is dark all year round, but particularly around Halloween time! Whether you’d rather go around the city on your own and explore all the eeriness it has to offer or you prefer to attend an event or follow along to a tour to cemeteries or mausoleums, Edinburgh has every frightening thing you can wish for. It’s not all about pumpkins and spider webs in Edinburgh!
