Listen to the tunes...
If you’d like to experience an exciting atmosphere and a feeling of togetherness, these festivals can give you a celebration of all this through music, as well as a taste of the Scottish isles and the opportunity to listen to some world-renowned musicians live!
Shetland Folk Festival
The Shetland Folk Festival is regarded as a prestigious event as it is the UK’s most northerly folk festival and it consists of some of the best International, British and Shetland music. The festival is organised by a voluntary committee and volunteers. Shetlanders from all over the island pitch in to help with welcoming guests, even with providing accommodation! So when heading to the Shetland Folk Festival, you might not get your typical hotel room, but rather a more homely stay… which we think is another great reason to book!
