The Open Championship
The Open, golf’s original and most international Championship, has been around since 1860 when eight professional golfers competed in a tournament at Prestwick to determine who would be the Champion Golfer. This year, the 150th Open at St Andrews will be held between the 10th and 17th of July.
St Andrews
From the renowned architecture on the New Course to the iconic Swilcan Bridge on the Old Course, St Andrews is one of Scotland’s best known golfing locations. St Andrews Links is also regarded as the “Home of Golf” due to it having over 600 years of golfing history and thus, being one of the oldest courses in the world.
